Embellished, shimmer filled, textural, cabled, knitwear extravaganza!
Such is my description of Jeanette Au's San Francisco Academy of Art MFA collection. Her work was inspired by Sergei Diaghilev's Ballet Russes and Léon Bakst's ornate and highly decorative paintings. Just a few weeks back the collection walked the runway at New York Fashion week, and met with rave reviews. I've known Jeanette for some time now and have always been inspired by the breadth of her imagination, inventiveness, and dedication to craft. The favorable response to Jeanette's collection was well deserved, the pieces were incredibly intricate and finely finished both inside and out.
